Position Description:
SUMMARY
Responsible for overseeing corporate client(s) real estate lease administration operations; and working with database management, accounts payable and audit services.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

•Work with Lease Administration Managers to solve issues for corporate client(s) and resolve critical issues as they develop.
•Establish and maintain strong working relationships with client(s) and their landlords. Participate in corporate services meetings.
•Review, Prepare and/or edit lease abstracts for accuracy and edit narrative and computer generated reports.
•Develop, maintain, and review department KPI’s for timeliness, efficiency, and accuracy.
•Manage client physical and database lease files to ensure that the lease files contain accurate, up-to-date records and are of institutional equivalent quality.
•Conduct analysis of leased and owned portfolios.
•Assist with the design of reports in Archibus, Excel, and Word.
•Work with Accounting Director to prepare and distribute Monthly and Quarterly Reports and ad hoc reports in a timely, accurate manner.
•Process client rent rolls utilizing the Lease Administration database.
•Lead and/or Participate in team meetings and assist in the preparation of individual annual goals Attend seminars/training courses as required.
•Perform account reconciliations and review reconciliations.
•Prepare intercompany journal entry each month to distribute building expense to department level.
•Other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements:
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervises a team of three lease administrators.

EDUCATION
•High School Diploma; Bachelor’s degree or equivalent to a 4-year college program a plus.

EXPERIENCE
•3+ years commercial real estate experience (Property Management or Real Estate Accounting preferred) or any similar combination of education and experience.

SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE
•Understanding of the lease administration process.
•Excellent computer skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and previous use of a database system; ability to learn new specialty lease administration software.
•Experience with Yardi
•Strong interpersonal skills and problem solving ability.
•Strong verbal/written communication and presentation skills.
•Willingness to travel (10%).
•Proven record of excellent internal and external customer service.
•Strong analytical skills, logic and experience with lease language interpretation.
